Commission Consultation on Sustainable Consumption and Production launched

On 11 January 2012, the European Commission launched a consultation on “Delivering more Sustainable Consumption and Production”. The aim of the consultation is to obtain input regarding the possible introduction of EU-wide Sustainable Consumption and Production measures and asks for targeted feedback on:

• Sustainable Consumption and Production and Sustainable Industry policies
• Green Public Procurement
• Actions for improving the environmental performance of products (Product Environmental Footprint – PEF)
• Action for improving the environmental performance of organizations (Environmental Footprint of Organisations – OEF).

The deadline for response is 3 April 2012. CEMBUREAU will respond to the consultation.
