REACH Annex V Guidance: all types of clinker and petcoke exempt from registration

ECHAⁱ has published the Guidance document for Annex V of REACHⁱ on its website. The 'Guidance for Annex V exemptions from the obligation to register' provides a detailed explanation and background information on how the different legal exemptions apply and gives clarification about when an exemption can be applied.

The exemptions from registration for cement clinker and for petroleum coke are thus finally confirmed.  In addition, the text regarding hydrated/anhydrous forms of substances is satisfactory.
