ACEI

The Alliance for a Competitive European Industry (ACEI) was formed in 2004 by 11 major European industry sector associations and BUSINESSEUROPE. The common objective of its Members is to promote the competitiveness of European industry on a global scale. The Alliance therefore encourages a policy and regulatory framework that supports that objective, reinforcing and complementing BUSINESSEUROPE’s work in this respect by providing a sectoral perspective.

Alliance of Energy Intensive Industries

BUILD UP

The BUILD UP interactive web portal shares and promotes existing knowledge, guidelines, tools and best practices for energy-saving measures in buildings across Europe. At the same time, it informs and updates the market about the legislative framework in terms of goals, practical implications and future revisions. More information: www.buildup.eu.

CEPMC

The Council of European Producers of Materials for Construction is a European confederation of national "umbrella" organisations. A typical CEPMC Member federates a large number of national associations, which, together, cover all kinds of construction materials and building products, be they mineral, wood, plastic or metal-based. Founded in 1988, CEPMC is constituted as an AISBL, a non-profit making organisation under Belgian law.

ECF

The European Construction Forum is a platform for cooperation on issues of common interest between independent organisations representing key players in the construction sector and participating on a voluntary basis.

ECP

The European Concrete Platform ASBL (ECP), is a European association incorporated as a non-profit association under Belgian law.

EEF

The European Energy Forum (EEF), a non-profit making association, was founded in the beginning of the 1980’s, on the initiative of MEPs who wished to avoid energy decisions being based on inadequate technological, economic and geopolitical considerations or born of ideological prejudices.

FOCOPE

The Forum in the European Parliament for Construction is of interest to all those directly or indirectly involved whose aim is to create a competitive and effective industry with high growth and employment.

NEPSI

The European Network for Silica (NEPSI) is formed by the Employee and Employer European sectoral associations which signed the Social Dialogue "Agreement on Workers' Health Protection Through the Good Handling and Use of Crystalline Silica and Products Containing it" on 25 April 2006.
